Deal or no deal, Big Deal Bills is the self proclaimed "Biggest Deal" in the underground music scene. Big Deal Bills is a Brooklyn bred hip-hop artist straight out of the streets of Red Hook. A DJ who Bills met through performing at Sapphire Lounge , DJ Uncle Tone of PornoThug, Dicehoods Ent. & Committee Records, has said "... Big Deal Bills has the creativity to make fresh new innovative hip hop without fabricating stories & creating a false persona! Something all hip hop needed universally."
Currently, Bills has been performing at Sapphire Lounge in the lower east side of Manhattan for the "Foundation/Limelight" showcase every Wednesday hosted by Nightime of Dicehoods Ent & music by Dj Uncle Tone. He's also in the studio finishing up his debut CD "Count Me In" & preparing a city wide tour to promote his project.
Though Bills is pushing his solo project, he is a part of his group "Dying Breed" which he formed a few years ago with his brother Bigz, Lowf & Ladyfed. They all grew up in Red Hook BK & are some of the best at telling their life stories over any beat of choice. They're in the studio now working on a group project. Bills past is filled with being a straight A student who choose the life of drug dealing & gang violence which he turned around upon his release from prison. Since 2009, Bills has performed at many venues across NYC like Don Hills, Time Square Arts Center, Serenity Lounge, even Liquid Charms in Philly just to name a few. In February 2010 he took home 2nd place competing in the Elegant Hoodness Musical Program at Bowery Poetry Club which led to interviews with Mic Check 69, Fusebox radio & Birthplace Magazine. He's also all over the Booth Burners DVD series appearing in both Vol. 2 & the latest "N.Y. Unsigned" edition.
As you can see, Big Deal Bills has been working hard in his first year in the underground scene and has no plans of stopping soon. From finishing his debut project "Count Me In", to consistently performing in shows, Bills future looks promising. B. Severe, CEO/President of Booth Burners DVD magazine says "With crowd favorites like "Fresh", "Came A Long Way" and "Don't Mix My Drink", Big Deal Bills is sure to have the clubs and the streets checking for his latest project. I can only describe his music as real life on real music.... Real hip hop." 'Nuff Said.
