TONY DICE: BIOGRAPHY

Anthony “Tony Dice” Watts (born April 1, 1988) was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Dice is the youngest of three boys, raised near the Poole Rd area of Kinston by his mother and grandparents. Music always played a major role in his life even before birth. His mother was determined to ingrain the definition of real music into Dice. During her pregnancy, she would sit by her radio and listen to the classics that will never die, playing artists such as Teddy Pendergrass, Al Green, Stevie Wonder, and Marvin Gaye as well as other legends. Dice soul roots grow even deeper as a closely related relative of the Staples Singers. Even in his own music you can hear the soul and meaning behind the lyrics.
