Music Mystro is one of the illest DJ/producers on the underground scene in New York. But don’t be fooled Mystro is no new jack to the game. At 20 he met with Uptown rapper Sacario and ultimately produced “Live Big” (Car Keys), which provided the emcee with instant hit.
Although Sacario later fizzled, Mystro has gone on to worked with the likes of Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, The Clipse, and many other mainstream artists. Even with those names on his résumé the Harlem native feels like an underdog on the come up. Trife Boss as he is more widely known is the complete package. Although he didn’t at the time take his writing talent serious as a career, Trife has been lyrically inclined since 1987. Growing up in the streets of NYC, with his brother DolaMob (MOB), Trife learned what the survival game was all about and so his lyrics back then and now reflect his life experiences. In 1990 is when Trife really start to let his light shine as an artist, writing his own material and soon thereafter writing for others. Over the years Trife has honed his skills and added new talents and skills to his repertoire, to become the complete package, “That Hot Commodity” T.H.C.
