Brooklyn, New York born singer, songwriter, Mark McLaughlin also know as MK, Got his start in the music industry penning numerous commercials and jingles for radio stations. Mark’s watershed moment as a vocalist came when Vibe magazine asked to do an interview based on a song he performed and wrote about his hometown called “Brooklyn”. With the national exposure Mark received from the article he went on to open for such acts like, John Legend, Dwele, and Estelle, to name a few. Mark also went on to perform the national anthem on ESPN2, for the celebrity high school all-star game held at the world famous Rucker Park.
As Mark’s career continued to grow, he got involved in writing film scores and performed and wrote the song “Turn the Lights Out”. Which was featured in the Universal Picture “Bring It On: Fight To The Finish”, directed by Billie Woodruff and starring Christina Millian, released and aired on ABC Networks in 2010. Mark’s vocals can also be heard singing the hook on Lil Mama’s new lead single featuring Snoop Dog called “How You Get It Like That”, set to be released 2011. Currently Mark is working on his debut album entitled “The Mark Of MK”, which features collaborations from Red Cafe, Papoose, Glasses Malone and Mark also has Jim Jones and Maino featuring on the new single 'Let More Ladies In' which is currently on radio and many blog sites as well.
