James FRITO Twine grew up like the majority of his peers, in a single parent house hold with just his mother to try and guide him through the jungle that was his home. Born and raised in the downtown section of Harlem. Home of some of the most notorious street legends, hustlers and basketball players it seemed as those 3 options would be his only way out. Not gifted in basketball and not patient enough to rap FRITO got caught up in the addiction of fast money and began selling drugs at a very young age. He was arrested for criminal sale and possession of narcotics at the young age of 14. "The 1st time I got arrested I was so young I was more worried about my mother finding out then the consequences I would have to face" FRITO continued to go in and out of jail until 2005 when he was shot. While recovering in Harlem hospital FRITO was picked up by Marshals for a warrant stemming from a previous drug case he never went back to court for and a parole violation.

It wasn't till his release from a 6 year prison sentence that FRITO decided It was time to find a way out of the lifestyle he was accustomed to... Which consist of selling drugs and committing other crimes to survive in an environment that he felt he and his family was trapped in. He went with his third option RAPPING! Always known to be clever with words, humorous and have a unconditional love for music FRITO knew that this was what he was destined to do.. Presently working on his upcoming mixtape entitled 12 STEPS TO GREATNESS Frito brings originality and vivid images of the experiences he's seen and felt firsthand thru clever lyrics and a advanced story telling ability such as on his 1st single CASANOVA... He tells the tale of growing up and trying to survive in Harlem on NIGHTMARE ON 12th STREET...
