Finest”, and his name is Ron Kemp a.k.a. Mr. Hotwire. Following in the footsteps of such BK legends as the Notorious Biggy Smalls and Jay-Z, this Brooklyn born and raised artist uses the combination of extraordinary composition and arrangements with precise lyrical delivery to let his audiences know there is no time like the present to stake his claim as a future Hip-hop industry icon.
In the past Hotwire has been a household name with some of the biggest unsigned artist showcases and events in NYC and the Tri-State area including Tonya Lewis’ famed E.A.R.S.[Emerging Artist Reaching for Stardom] showcase series. Hotwire has been featured on Hip-hop DX as an unsigned artist and was one of the most downloaded artists on the Raw Talent DX artist network. Hotwire was also featured in collaboration projects with Breaking Ground Entertainment, Lethal Entertainment and the Bar Association.
the Wire Man has been working on his first solo mixtape entitled (Thank you for coming) due out in 2012 1quarter Look for singles such as “Favorite Song”, “Champion”. “Top of the World”, “Sexy Mama” and “First flight” to behitting the airwaves in 2012 You can also look for Hotwire on the anticipated sneaker documentary album “Know You Got Sole”. The Hotwire single “Soul to Sole” was selected by Sean “Paper Chasr” Williams for the album.
